good books to read

the first anne rice (in terms of vampire chronicals) is "INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE"

do you have to read em in order...no not really. you can read them all alone..and understand the story. but i would read them in order...that way you wont have any missing parts if she talks about the past or something.

For those who like fantasy and boy love, Lynn Flewelling is another author you may want to check out -- especially her "Nightrunner" series ("Luck in the Shadows", "Stalking Darkness", and "Traitor's Moon" are the names of the individual books). I discovered them around Thanksgiving when I went to Vegas with my boyfriend to visit his parents. I ended up carrying the books with me everywhere (even to the casinos!) so I could spend every free second reading them. Good adventure story, and you can't help but fall madly in love with the two main characters.

Ive heard about the Nightrunner series..but i wanted to read it from the library and then buy it...but my library doesnt have it..if its as good as you say it is i might buy it..Another very..um interesting book is "As meat loves Salt"...by Maria McCane..very bloody and yaoi-ish..but very good
